Going Forward
1 Timothy 2:1-7
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity - the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. And I have been chosen as a preacher and apostle to teach the Gentiles this message about faith and truth. I'm not exaggerating-just telling the truth.
Intro:
Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the comands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
- Pray for all People

- Ephesians 6:18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
- Pray for those in Authority
- 1 Timothy 2:2 Pray this way for the kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.
- Pray for Salvations
- 1 Timothy 2:3-4 This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.
- 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
- Preach Jesus
- 1 Timothy 2:5-6 For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity - the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.
- John 14:6 Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
- Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

- 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
