End Time Preparations
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him. Don't be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don't believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us. Don't be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed-the one who brings destruction. He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.
Matthew 24:42-44
So you, too, must keep watch! For you don't know what day your Lord is coming. Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into. You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.

- Don't Believe Everything

- Don't Reject The Truth

- 2 Thessalonians 2:10 He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them.
- John 14:6 Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."
- Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

- Don't Neglect Watching

- Matthew 24:42 So you, too, must keep watch! For you don't know what day your Lord is coming.
- Luke 21:34-36 Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.

- Don't Neglect Readiness

- Matthew 24:44 You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.
- Luke 18:8 But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?
- Matthew 24:48-51 But what if the servant is evil and thinks, "My master won't be back for a while," and he begins beating the other servants, partying,and getting drunk? The master will return unannounced and unexpected, and he will cut the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

- Don't Neglect Declaring The Gospel

- Matthew 24:14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will heart it; and then the end will come.
- 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
- Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
